Becoming a correspondent & reporter for USPA News

United States Press Agency (USPA News) is always looking for correspondents, journalists, reporters, photojournalists and PR agents who are interested in providing editorial content for USPA News on a freelance basis. To become a member of the community, the following requirements have to be met:

  • Excellent knowledge of US spelling, grammar and punctuation
  • Adequate computer and Internet skills
  • DSL connection
  • Independent article research skills
  • Digital camera (for photographers)
  • A sense of enjoyment from editorial work

USPA News provides each member with access to the USPA News editorial system.  Articles or press photos may then be added at any time and published under select topic areas. All contributions are published under the name of the individual author or creator. The articles and photographs may be interlinked in prominent places to attract more visitors. Besides the advantage of creating pages that are easier to find, this also encourages direct contact between authors and fosters collaboration.

USPA News is no ordinary web page read by "common" users. Rather, it resembles an editorial platform that contains numerous subjects and topic areas and offers a place to present company stories. USPA News should therefore be seen as a crossover between journalism, PR and business. As such, the platform is particularly interesting for business representatives.

Feel free to add content to your USPA News beat whenever you have time and energy.  It doesn´t matter if you're at home or out and about with your laptop, whether it is morning, afternoon, evening or night time. Create topic areas that catch readers' interest and explore them in depth. There are no parameters regarding content. Individual target segments are reached through the different topic areas.
